The Doulton HIS PF M12 water filter system is installed under the kitchen counter and connected to its dedicated faucet. It includes a Doulton Biotect Ultra Si M12 filter, which combines a ceramic filter, activated carbon and a scale inhibitor.

The filter works in three stages: the outer ceramic shell traps bacteria, cysts and microparticles; the activated carbon removes chlorine and organic compounds while improving taste and odour; and the third stage removes heavy metals. The system connects using 3/8" quick-connect tubing.
