The tubular frame provides rigidity and comfort to the Jääkäri M backpack when carrying heavy loads. It is designed based on the Jääkäri L frame, which was originally intended for the Finnish Border Guard patrol pack.

Installation is simple: the frame is placed in the Jääkäri M frame sheet compartment, with the plastic frame sheet facing the back. The frame sheet can be removed, however, this may cause angular items inside the backpack to press against the back between the pads. Careful packing can help reduce this issue.

Adjusting the S-profile for a better fit along the spine is possible, but requires caution. Modifying the frame may void the 5-year warranty, as damage may occur due to incorrect bending.
