The Dartmoor Reel Pro Singlespeed v.2 rear hub is a high-quality MTB component designed for dirt/street bikes with a single-speed transmission system. Its main features include:

The Pro version stands out for its cassette body. The second generation of the Reel Pro Singlespeed features a modified design with 6 independent cogs, each with 6 separate double springs and a wider ratchet ring, increasing overall engagement by 72 times per wheel rotation. Regarding materials, the hub body is made from the usual forged aluminum AL 6061-T6 and is mounted on a 15 mm aluminum AL 7075-T6 axle, secured with 3/8" Cr-Mo screws made of chromoly vanadium. It features full sealing with four high-quality sealed bearings and synthetic grease from Mobil. Additionally, external seals are protected by durable AL 7075-T6 caps, providing the best possible protection against mud and dust.

On the disc brake side, there are two 6902 bearings, while on the freehub side, there is one 15267 bearing and one 6902 bearing. The AL6061-T6 is an aluminum alloy tempered with magnesium and silicon, known for its high resistance to corrosion and good mechanical properties. With high strength and a significant performance point, it allows the desired shape without weakening the material. The T6 heat treatment offers optimal combined strength in harsh mountain biking conditions.

Aluminum anodizing is an electrochemical process that forms an oxide layer on the aluminum surface, characterized by increased hardness and resistance to corrosion and wear. The resulting layer is nearly invisible and has a rough, porous structure, allowing effective coating dyeing.

AL7075-T6, known as aerospace aluminum, is a heat-treated alloy containing zinc, magnesium, and copper, characterized by high mechanical properties and excellent machinability, making it ideal for horizontal parts of the axle.
