The 3M Cubitron II 787C grinding disc uses 3M Precision Shaped Grain (PSG) technology, with abrasive grains that retain their sharp edges for fast cutting with less pressure. It is designed for heavy-duty metalworking, such as weld removal and finishing, edge shaping, and high-pressure grinding. The built-in grinding aid reduces grinding temperatures on heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel, and titanium.

Cooler operation helps reduce metal discolouration and oxidation. The disc maintains its performance in robotic grinding applications and is also used for cleaning after flame cutting.
