Tonka Bean Essential Oil (Dipteryx odorata)

Tonka essential oil is extracted from the seeds of the fruit of the plant scientifically named Dipteryx odorata, a large tropical tree. It has a deep aroma resembling caramel and is one of the best fragrance ingredients, as it stabilizes natural scents. Its aromatic profile reminds of caramel, almond, and vanilla.
