The PA 39 profile is one of the most commonly used in exterior roller shutters due to its low weight, good flexibility during rolling, and adaptability to compact cases. The internal foam provides rigidity, thermal and sound insulation, while the aluminum offers weather resistance.
Practical use: When the exterior shutter sticks due to obstacles in the rolling path or inside it (dirt, pebbles, debris) or when the last slat freezes (frozen water prevents rolling), the motor continues to operate and pushes the slats, which may deform or detach. In these cases, only the damaged section can be repaired using this set of 5 slats 1.5 m + 6 side connecting pins. Full disassembly of the shutter is not necessary.
