This review is about the edition: Day One

Nonexistent story, poor handling. Lots of bugs. The difficulty in the bosses is managing to align the camera. Frame drops on a regular PS5. Stay away.

This review is about the edition: Day One

Nonexistent story, difficult and tiring controls, graphics are good but I've seen better, after all that was never a prerequisite to keep me playing a game, it's the first game I sold without finishing it.

This review is about the edition: Day One

Whoever is looking to get a game and get lost in its world has found the right game, as its open world is one of the best. If you want to get it for its story, then you better think again because its story is its weak point as it is mediocre and uninteresting. Its controls take a few hours to get used to because they are a bit strange, but once you get used to them you won't have any issues. Now, regarding its optimization on PS5, it's a bit bad as in performance mode on base PS5 the game will look bad and you will almost never see 60fps, as in battles and cities it will drop to 40 and sometimes even lower. I suggest you put it in balanced mode which is 40fps but the game looks satisfactory. All these things I mention may change in the future as Pearl Abyss updates every week, fixing many things. For me, it is worth its money and more, as you can easily dedicate 150-200 hours with pleasure without even realizing it.

This review is about the edition: Day One

The controls are unbearable, they are really bad and the menus are chaotic. The graphics are obviously beautiful but it brings the regular PS5 to its knees. The story is rather uninteresting, exploration is more interesting than what happens in the plot. The gameplay in my opinion is mediocre, it tries to do everything and in the end does nothing perfectly.

A game that came and gave us exactly what it showed in the trailers, a game that made me want to play again instead of just scrolling through the PS5 menu and ending up turning it off, the video speaks for itself!

This review is about the edition: Day One

An incredible open world game, addictive, with an amazing combat system, a lively world, after the patch even on the standard PS5, stunning graphics, with endless hours of exploration, they have combined many games and big successes, but they've taken it even further, I'm only at 25 hours and I'm still at the very beginning.
The joy of exploring a vibrant world where you get lost.
If I had to mention a negative, it's that it requires a lot, but really a lot of time.
    5/5 at the very least.
    A definite purchase.

Absolute cinema of a game. It does have it's flaws but almost weekly I see fixes. I don't mind slow fixes as long as they get done. The Devs actually pay attention to the complaints and make do. I feel like this game, despite being great, can become even greater.

This review is about the edition: Day One

An "endless" open RPG with a world that is vibrant, with incredible detail in the landscapes and a dynamic weather system that makes exploration a real pleasure. Each area has its own identity and challenges you to get to know it in depth.
The gameplay is fast, dynamic, and full of intensity. Battles require strategy, proper timing, and utilization of abilities. At the same time, the story is theoretically its "weakest" point, which nevertheless develops substantially as the plot progresses.
The graphics are beautiful, next-gen, with impressive animations. The music and sound ideally complement the atmosphere, creating a beautiful medieval aesthetic.
Overall, Crimson Desert is perhaps the most ambitious RPG out there, combining all the good elements of the genre, and then throws you into a vast world waiting for your hours to explore it. A quality production that puts to shame all the big titles that have been rehashing the same things for years.

FINALLY A company that listens to the people, patches what is needed immediately and works tirelessly despite already being successful.
Nice game that doesn't hold your hand but gives you the freedom to choose.
Crowded world (outside a castle, for example, you interact with 30 NPCs at the same time) with today's patch they fixed many more things in graphics and controls.
    Simply epic.
It's been a while since I got so involved with a modern RPG and felt like exploring its world.
On a regular PS5 it is very beautiful and the graphics are amazing even in balanced mode
