It employs specialized lenses for working with these glassware items. Observation of cell cultures in Petri dishes or cylindrical bottles up to 187 mm can be performed by removing the condenser. Sample examination is carried out using transmitted light microscopy techniques (brightfield and phase contrast). Additional accessories enable the use of differential interference contrast (DIC) and Hoffman contrast methods.
