The non-absorbable surgical suture POLYESTER is used for tissue approximation and securing soft tissues, suitable for cardiovascular, neurological, and ophthalmic surgeries. Its application initially causes a small inflammatory response in the tissues, followed by gradual formation of a fibrous capsule around the suture. POLYESTER sutures are not absorbed and do not lose their strength due to hydrolysis in vivo.
