Faren bituminous cementitious waterproofing coating forms a highly elastic liquid membrane for waterproofing vertical and horizontal surfaces, such as walls and rooftops. It protects against weather conditions and UV rays and resists the corrosive action of many acids. It can be used when traditional membranes or torch-applied systems cannot be installed.
It can be applied to concrete, bituminous membranes, metal, fibre cement, plasterboard, wood, ceramics and glass. It is suitable for foundations, walls in contact with the ground, bathrooms, showers, saunas, balconies and rooftops, including over existing coatings. It creates a waterproof bonding base for tiles installed with EN 12004 Class C cementitious adhesives. Diluted by 50%, it can be used to prepare surfaces and prevent dusting.
