In The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, up to four players team up as explorers searching for treasure in a cursed jungle. As they make their way towards the gates of a legendary underworld, they face monstrous creatures and supernatural forces that distort their perception of reality. Survival depends on communication and cooperation, while paranoia and hallucinations make decisions harder.
Before each mission, the team chooses weapons and equipment aboard their galleon. Their goal is to complete their objectives and return before the dangers of the jungle overwhelm them. The Deluxe Edition includes the Abyssal Gear Pack, The Fortune Hunters Characters Pack with two exclusive characters, and the exclusive Temple of Yig mission, set in a special area with a different style of gameplay.
