The Petzl Asap Lock is a mobile fall arrester with a locking function, designed to facilitate rope ascent management. During normal use, the device moves freely along the rope without any manual intervention and follows the user's movements. In the event of a shock or sudden movement, the fall arrester locks onto the rope and stops the user. The integrated locking function allows the device to be immobilized in order to reduce the fall length. The connecting arm makes the system resistant to falls during passage over intermediate anchors. The Petzl Asap Lock is used with an energy absorber for work at a distance from the rope. It is certified according to American, European, and Russian standards.
