The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu Deluxe Edition for Xbox Series X is an action-adventure game featuring cosmic horror elements, inspired by the stories of H. P. Lovecraft. Up to four players team up as explorers on treasure-hunting expeditions in a cursed jungle, where monsters and supernatural phenomena distort their perception. Survival requires communication and cooperation, as paranoia and hallucinations make decision-making more difficult.
Before each expedition, the team selects weapons and equipment aboard their galleon, then explores the jungle, completes objectives, and returns before the dangers overwhelm them. The Deluxe Edition includes the Abyssal Gear Pack, The Fortune Hunters Characters Pack with two exclusive characters, and the exclusive Temple of Yig mission, featuring a new contract in a special area and a different style of gameplay.
