What can be saved when you've seen everything fall apart? Death doesn't mean we have to say goodbye. And if I chose to leave on April 1st, it's because death is a big lie. All you need is to have lived beautifully, intensely, with grace and tenderness.
And how can we talk about death when it leaves behind "life"? It is important to learn to live the "now" without postponements. I wrote this book in memory of my son, who passed away at just 33, but who lived his short life with passion and courage.
No matter how hard I tried not to give this book a mourning tone, I couldn't succeed. But life is beautiful, with its colors and its aromas. Because age is just a number on your journey through the universe. That’s why, ultimately, what matters is the love you gave and the legacy you left in the material world.
Live as Chrystos lived. Suck the marrow out of life. A good life cannot be overshadowed by death.
