Condensation in a roof tent is caused by the temperature difference between the interior and exterior of the tent. As the outside temperature drops, the warm, moist air we exhale turns from vapor into liquid, which then condenses on the fabric. Completely preventing condensation is not possible, as it is a natural process that can be inconvenient. To increase comfort, the roof tent can be equipped with a condensation barrier layer. Place it under your sleeping pad and condensation will no longer be an issue. The layer also provides an additional insulation layer.
