The Nippon: Zaibatsu Emperor’s Edition board game is a strategy and economic development game set in Japan during the Industrial Revolution. Players manage large business conglomerates, invest in industries, build factories and railways, and produce goods for local markets and to fulfill contracts. This edition includes revised mechanics and game components, as well as a Common Goals module and a solo mode with an automated opponent.
Scoring changes according to players’ choices, as they choose which actions will earn them victory points. The factories are double-sided, while the wooden pieces feature printed symbols. The modular plastic organizer has snap-on lids for storing the components.
