The MAGUS CDF30 optical material is a video optical system with a SONY Exmor 8.3 MP digital sensor. The sensor uses back-illuminated technology to improve light sensitivity, providing bright and clear images even in low light conditions.
Designed for dark field and bright field methods with 4x, 10x, and 20x lenses, it can also be used with stereo microscopes. Connection to a computer is via a USB 3.0 port with a data transfer speed of 5 Gbps, allowing image display on the screen.
The camera is mounted on a trinocular tube or microscope optical tube. For maximum field of view without optical defects, an adapter with magnification from 0.65x to 0.9x is required. Additionally, an adapter ring matching the tube diameter is needed.
Images are displayed on a computer screen with a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 px and a frame rate of 45 fps. At lower resolution (1920x1080 px), the frame rate increases to 70 fps, with seamless transitions and minimal latency, making it suitable for studying and presenting moving objects. Photos and videos can be saved in various formats.
Before using the MAGUS CDF30 digital camera, special software must be installed on the computer. The camera comes with a CD containing drivers and the MAGUS View software. The software must be configured for each lens, requiring a calibration sample that is not included in the package.
