Alyssum (alyssum maritimum, lobularia maritime) is an annual herb, native to the Mediterranean. Its height does not exceed 25 centimeters, growing in width and forming small bushes with beautiful purple flowers.

It grows and flowers quickly, with minimal care, and thrives in all weather conditions. It just needs a spot in a bright location and moderate watering frequency. It blooms between February and June and is ideal for ground cover, as it flowers easily and forms lovely clusters in pots and gardens. It serves as a very good separator between groups of other plants and creates impressive colorful surfaces when planted on lawns.
