    Amazing shoe!! NIKE took the successful formula of the previous model (41) and improved it quite a bit. The shoe has a larger toebox, and an extra layer of foam in the sole that makes the shoe softer to step on without being unstable like, for example, the Vomero 18 or Plus, etc. Also, the shoe has arch support and is beautiful and tidy. It's not like the bulky shoes we see nowadays. If you want a shoe for walking or for a few kilometers of daily running, get it with your eyes closed!

Midsole made of ReactX foam

With 15% greater energy return than its predecessor, the Pegasus 42 is powered by a full-length curved Air Zoom unit, making lacing up exciting for jogging, running, training, and more. 

The finely tuned Air experience offers a sense of propulsion reminiscent of Nike’s legendary racing shoes but is designed for everyday runs.

More than ever, each Air Zoom unit is engineered for maximum responsiveness, creating a feeling of bounce and power never before felt in a Pegasus model.

Spacious front area

The fit has been updated to give you a little extra room in the toes and forefoot, compared to the Pegasus 41.

With a more comfortable fit and improved cushioning at the front of the foot, especially under the toes, where an innovative structure accommodates an extra 3 millimeters of cushioning without adding to the stack height in the rest of the shoe.

Breathable upper

The lightweight mesh is softer and more breathable than previous versions, helping your feet stay comfortable.

The renewed design aesthetic also features a stylish midsole, a Speed Dash treatment on the upper, updated Pegasus branding, and a range of impressive color combinations, from vibrant shades to timeless tones.

Rubber outsole with high abrasion resistance

A support system in the midfoot and a fully contoured sockliner promote a comfortable, secure fit, and a new lightweight, breathable upper adapts perfectly to the foot.

A plush ReactX foam midsole maintains the continuity from the Pegasus 41, and a modernized waffle-shaped outsole allows for smooth transitions while providing confident traction on a variety of surfaces.
