The Kitul Yala Smart Wireless Mentor SY001 5in1 WiFi is a modern access control solution, an IoT project from Mentor, designed for installation on indoor or outdoor doors made of wood or metal. With an attractive design and simple installation, it allows access management for one or more locations (apartment, house, office, rental spaces, hotel setting) directly from the app, via smartphone or tablet, wherever you are. The system operates without a central unit and connects via WiFi 2.4 GHz (802.11 b/g/n), offering real-time control and monitoring.

The lock provides 5 unlocking/locking methods: via the app, fingerprint, code, IC card, and key, as well as an indoor unlocking function. In the app, you can create automations and scenarios (for example, automatic locking after a set time, local or remote programming, actions triggered by sensor activation). For temporary use, you can create limited-use codes that can be sent via SMS or email. You will receive notifications for each use of the lock and warnings for low battery, ensuring safe and efficient management.

Power is supplied by 4 AAA batteries (rechargeable batteries can also be used), with low power consumption, and in case of depletion, there is an option for emergency power supply via USB-C 5V for unlocking. The device can be used by one or multiple users, with the ability to rename the location and device in the app for clear access organization. It is recommended to check the door thickness (35–55 mm); for thicker doors, longer spindles and screws can be used.

The package includes: external smart lock (entry), internal smart lock (exit), lock case 60×22×50 mm, 2 IC cards, 2 keys, 4 AAA batteries, screws and extension rods, square spindle for handle installation L=80 mm, and user/installation manual in Romanian. To protect the surface, the lock body is delivered with a protective film, which should be removed after confirming installation.
