The EASTRON SDM630‑Modbus V2 (with PV mod) is a smart three-phase energy meter for DIN rail (35mm), suitable for photovoltaic (PV) applications and facility monitoring. It supports single-phase and three-phase networks (1P2W / 3P3W / 3P4W) and offers bidirectional measurement (Import/Export), useful in net metering and injection control installations.

Features:

• Measurements: energy (kWh, kVArh), power (kW/kVA/kVAr), voltage (V), current (A), power factor (PF), frequency (Hz), harmonics (THD), maximum demand (demand/max demand).
• Outputs: two pulse outputs (one adjustable and one fixed for active energy with 400 imp/kWh).
• Communication: RS485 communication with Modbus RTU for remote reading/integration into SCADA/EMS.

The PV mod version utilizes Modbus communication and bidirectional measurement for energy flow monitoring, supporting direct connection up to 100A (without external CT), reducing installation cost and complexity.
