The Code of Court Employees was enacted with Law 4798/2021 (Government Gazette A΄ 68/24.4.2021). Its purpose, according to Article 1, is "to upgrade and modernize the condition of court employees, ensuring their work is dignified, rational, and creative, and to contribute significantly to the smooth and efficient operation of the courts, as well as to the quality and prestige of Justice."
