Teasome White Ruby white tea comes from the Nantou region of Taiwan and is made from the Hong Yu #18 variety, also known as Ruby. Its leaves have subtle purple hues, while its flavor profile includes notes of menthol, camphor and cypress.
For European-style brewing, use 5 g of tea per 250 ml of water at 95°C, with steeping times of 2, 3 and 5 minutes. For Gongfu brewing, use 4 g per 100 ml of water at 95°C, with steeping times of 20, 10, 15 and 20 seconds, making each subsequent steep slightly longer. For cold brew, use 10 g per 1,000 ml of cold water and refrigerate the tea for 12 hours before mixing well.
