The Proacoustics Polyfon acoustic absorption set consists of Wedge-style speaker isolation pads that limit the transmission of acoustic energy to the supporting surface and reduce resonance. Each pad combines a base and an upper wedge, allowing the speakers’ tilt and direction to be adjusted.
The combination of the two parts provides five different tilt angles: 0°, ±4°, and ±8°. With the wedge in its standard position, it creates a flat supporting surface; removing it or positioning it in the opposite direction creates a tilt of ±4° or ±8°, respectively. The set is made from self-extinguishing polyurethane foam and is designed for near-field monitor speakers.
