The Advanced Card Systems Ltd. NFC Token USB Reader II (ACS ACR1251T) is a portable NFC reader and writer powered via USB, designed in a token shape for contact operations with smart cards and NFC tags. It uses USB 2.0 Full Speed connectivity and does not require an external power source.

This device operates at a frequency of 13.56 MHz and supports ISO 14443 Type A/B, ISO 18092, MIFARE, FeliCa, PC/SC, and CCID standards, with data transfer speeds up to 424 kbps and reading distances of up to 50 mm depending on the tag type. It features an integrated antenna, anti-collision support, activity LED indicator, and firmware upgrade capability via USB.

The enclosure is compact and durable, made of black plastic, with a design similar to a USB stick and a body that is friendly for lanyards and clips.
