The ACS ACR122U-A9ACSA card reader is a USB NFC and contactless smart card reader writer designed for access control applications, electronic payments, electronic tickets, identity verification, and other RFID and NFC applications connected to a computer.
It operates at 13.56 MHz and supports the following standards: ISO 14443 Type A and B, ISO 18092, MIFARE, FeliCa and NFC Forum tag types 2 to 4. The reader offers reading and writing speeds up to 424 kbps, supports card emulation, peer-to-peer, and tag reader/writer mode, and includes a built-in antenna, bi-color LED, and speaker.
It connects via a fixed USB Type A cable, is compatible with CCID and PC SC, and is powered directly from the USB port. The unit dimensions are 98.0 mm x 65.0 mm x 12.8 mm and it weighs 70 g.
