The ACS ACR39U-H1ACSA card reader connects to a computer via USB Type-A and reads and writes contact cards. It supports ISO 7816 Class A, B and C smart cards, as well as microprocessor cards that use the T=0 and T=1 protocols. Its vertical desktop design is suited to e-government and banking, access control, PKI and healthcare applications.

Plug and Play functionality with CCID makes connecting easy, while short-circuit protection covers all pins. The reader supports EMV Level 1 (Contact), PC/SC, CCID, Microsoft WHQL and FIPS 201 environments.
