The acoustic design achieves high sensitivity 95 dB (1W/1m), efficiently converting energy into sound.
For optimal protection of the cone and the system, a high-pass filter is recommended: Recommended HPF at 55 Hz.
Cutting off inaudible subsonic frequencies prevents unnecessary mechanical stress on the voice coils.
At the same time, valuable amplifier power is reserved for the rest of the audio spectrum.
The fast response to transient peaks keeps the attack and pulse of percussion lively.
