It works more like a conditioner. For a mask, it doesn't do a good job, it's like you didn't put anything. I didn't feel any hydration and I had a problem with tangled hair that wouldn't soften at all.
On the positive side, the scent is intoxicating. Unfortunately, that alone is not enough.
