The waterproofing membrane ASPHALDIEN PF MIN is an elastomeric bituminous membrane, the mixture of which consists of refinery-modified bitumen with elastomer (SBS) polymer. The membrane is reinforced with polyester fabric and its upper surface is protected by mineral granules.

The surface on which the membrane will be applied must be clean, dry, and smooth. Before applying the membrane, the surface is coated with bituminous varnish which must be allowed to dry completely. Depending on the waterproofing design specifications, the membrane can be bonded only at the joints, partially, or fully. It should be noted that this applies only when the membrane is the first layer of a waterproofing system, because the subsequent layers are always fully bonded.

The roll dimensions are 1m width and 10m length. The tapes used on each roll state the commercial name of the product, the type of reinforcement, as well as the product's weight. The rolls are placed on a wooden pallet and are secured using shrink polyethylene film.

The upper surface of the ASPHALDIEN PFMIN membrane is protected by natural grey granules. An edge strip with a width of 10 cm along the roll is not covered by granules to allow easier bonding with the adjacent roll during application. The underside is also covered by a thin polyethylene film, which helps the mixture melt quickly during torch application.
