Description

The QiDi Max 4 Combo is an FDM 3D printer with a CoreXY motion system and a build volume of 390 × 390 × 340 mm, suitable for large models and engineering filaments. The hotend reaches up to 370 °C, while the enclosed chamber features third-generation active heating up to 65 °C and an air circulation system for more stable printing conditions when using materials that are prone to warping. Closed-loop FOC motors, extensive cooling and 10 mm-wide 1.5GT belts support the motion system, with a maximum travel speed of 800 mm/s and acceleration of up to 30,000 mm/s².

The X-axis runs on a linear rail, the Y-axis on 12 mm steel shafts, and the Z-axis on four guides with two independent motors and trapezoidal lead screws. The direct-drive extruder has hardened steel dual gears and a material flow rate of 40 mm³/s, while the ceramic throat and heat sink assembly reduce the risk of nozzle clogs. Automatic bed leveling uses a load sensor on the hotend; other features include a filament runout sensor, print recovery after a power outage, and an AI camera for monitoring and time-lapse recording. The three-stage air filtration system consists of a G3 pre-filter, an H12 HEPA filter and coconut-shell activated carbon.
