The game concludes the Greek Saga, I didn't experience it in its time, I played it remastered on PS4 and then I have it for PS5, an external game with a linear world but it constantly has epic scenes and the dialogues are very targeted and direct, without rambling and boredom, the only negative is that in 2025 it doesn't have good graphics but that's understandable since the game was released in 2010, nevertheless many important Boss Fights like Poseidon, Hades, Helios, Cronos, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hercules, Zeus and many other mythological monsters.. I highly recommend it!

Perfect, I may not have lived to play the original, but the storyline is amazing and generally the boss fights and everything is just perfect

When it was released, I was 9 years old and I admired this game as a child, even though I was a fan of God Of War since I was a kid. Now, in the year 2024, I continue to play it on the PS5. It is the best thing that has ever been released in gaming history for me; this game has emotional value.

5 Stars easily!! We are talking about a PS3 game, which is re-released on PS4. I say this mainly for the graphics that someone will see. The game is simply epic! Amazing music, nice gameplay, great story..!! Especially at a price that usually circulates at 9.90, get it with closed eyes!

The God Of War franchise in general is incredible. God Of War ||| is the last of the trilogy in Greece and the most epic of the three in my opinion.

The graphics for its time are very good and the landscapes are very beautiful. The gameplay is very entertaining with the variety of weapons that Kratos has being more than satisfying. The detail in Kratos' movements, the characters, the places, and the ways he decapitates several gods, mortals, and monsters, is equally outstanding as the whole game.

Is it worth the money? Yes. It is worth it and more. It is one of the best games of its time and a must-play for all gamers

I found it on sale for less than €10, I bought it just for fun but I didn't expect it to be such an amazing game. Especially if you have a good sound system, you will be blown away by the music. Especially when Kratos goes to Hades, if you have a 65-inch TV with a soundbar, you will be amazed. The only downside is that in order to get all the awards, you have to go through some hardships. While I finished the main story, I went on to get the platinum trophy, it tired me out and I noticed it.

Great game.. From the first games I saw on PS3 and now on PS4 with even better graphics and very smooth gameplay, it elevates the game. God of War III is the third best GoW game I have played after 2018's God of War and God of War II. Just buy it, it's worth every euro.. And now at this price of 15-20€? Without a doubt, a great game

Old but perfect game, game without open world, 10-hour excellent story and worth every penny

The game is epic. There are no words to describe how good it is. The music is flawless, the story is quite interesting, you fight gods of Olympus, titans, monsters... the controls are addictive and very easy to make combos with your weapons, which are extremely spectacular. One additional thing that I personally liked is that it is fast-paced and can be completed in about 10 hours. Personally, I always found it difficult to stay faithful to playing a game that requires 100 hours of gameplay to finish, at some point I would lose interest and give up. If I had to describe the game in 2 words - absolute carnage.

Quite good. No comparison to the fourth GOW, but even if it is one of the weaker games of the franchise, it is good. Very good graphics (for the time), an "okay" sound quality, and a (relatively) good story with a few plot holes but an exceptional plot twist at the end (I won't spoil it, those who have seen it know what I'm talking about). Anyway, the game is quite good and if I had to score it out of 10, I would give it an 8.2/10

The game is nice and worth it, but if you're not over 16-17, don't buy it because it contains inappropriate content.
The game I bought doesn't have any English, where it should say "only on playstation" it says it in other languages besides English (you can see it in the photo above).

Unbelievable game even in 2021 with ps5. Awesome remaster, it has nothing to envy from the new games. The gameplay is incredible with impressive boss fights and a tremendous story. Just experience Kratos leveling everything!

The graphics and gameplay don't match up to the latest God of War, since it was released for the PS3 and years have passed. However, it is definitely a very good remastered proposition that you will enjoy playing, with a great story, and it's worth having in your collection if you can find it for under €20 per disc. It also helps with understanding the story for those who have only played God of War on the PS4.

This game is perfect! It was one of the top games on PS3 and it is one of the top games on PS4! Easily the second best God of War game or even the best for some, with the best boss fights and the most action of all! If you are crazy GOW fans and haven't played this.... what are you waiting for? And if you have never played any GOW game, watch the cutscenes for all the previous ones and start with this one, and once you finish it, go to the new one from 2018.

One of the best games for the PS3!! Now if you play it on the PS4, you will understand how the game is from a different era. The graphics are okay, although I expected them to be better for a remastered version. However, it is still enjoyable to play. The boss fights are great, and for me, it is the best God of War game along with God of War 2. Rating: 9.5/10

First of all, I have to say that I played it on the PS3 and not on the PS4 many years ago. I finished it 2 or 3 times, it's an excellent game but it doesn't make me feel like playing it again after so many years.

It is a very good game. Especially the graphics for a game from 2010 are very good. The nicest scene is at the end where you fight Zeus. But overall, all the scenes are very nice. It is one of the best games I have played...

I recently played this version again, after having completed it twice on the PS3 version at launch. I am a huge fan of the franchise from the beginning. In my opinion, it is the best God of War that has been released. You truly feel like the god of war.
In the new GOW of 2018, although it is generally an exceptional game, as a God of War, not so much, as Kratos is heavy and slow and requires many hits to kill even the simplest enemies, which does not fit with a God of War who should "sweep" through his enemies.
The art direction in III is incredible, as well as the music and the battles with awesome moves and finishing moves.
Simply enjoyable..... All time classic.

As an owner of your game, I recommend buying it. It is one of the best games ever made. It is very emotional for us old fans of God of War, and the MANY new fans can learn about Kratos' past! I saw some complaints about the graphics in other reviews, and I would suggest to those who make them to look at the release date of this game.

I consider it a game that every gamer should have played. I rate it according to the year it was released, which was TOP at the time! The most important thing is that it won't make you bored (especially if you like this genre of games) and even today you can still enjoy playing it despite the fact that games have improved a lot.

This particular game, like the whole series, my friend who was a big fan had it. When I had the PS3, I saw her playing it. To tell the truth, I didn't like this kind of game with this gameplay, but she liked it and it reminded me of a prince of Persia game that she had in her collection and I had seen her playing. For me, it reminded me of the gameplay of a devil may cry game that I had added to my collection two years ago and I realized that it's not my style. As a story, it is excellent, flawless, the graphics as well, I have no criticism to make, but for me, I have noticed that in the past, whenever I would get a game, I would play it, now I struggle and get frustrated when a game gives me a hard time. I bought it because I had played the GOW of the PS4 and was impressed, and because I wanted to learn more about Kratos' story.

I played God of War 4 and then I played the 3rd one, which I borrowed from a friend, and it was truly flawless as a game with well-written dialogues. I hope the 5th one will be released soon

My favorite from the entire God of War series. It is a masterpiece, but in my opinion, if someone who hasn't played the previous ones gets it, they might get a little confused with the story, so it's better to watch gameplay from the previous ones... Having played God of War 1, 2, Chains of Olympus, and Ghost of Sparta, I believe it is the best with the most variety of weapons and overall things to do. Although it's somewhat an old game, it's worth getting, especially at this price. Besides, when you finish it, there are many extras to do. One of my favorite games for PS4

The scaling of Kratos' revenge in improved graphics and stable 60 fps. The combat system of the series is elevated under impressive and vast environments with corresponding epic music. The bonus challenges are definitely the most entertaining and difficult of the series so far.

I don't have it yet, but I had it on the PS3. I have God of War on the PS4, and I have to say that maybe I like the gameplay of the third one more! Anyone who hasn't played it must definitely give it a try! I'm thinking of buying it again for 20 euros (for the PS4 now), since I have changed my TV to a bigger/better one and the PS3 has had its fair share (weird, huh?) and I would easily play it again!

Let me clarify some things because most of you are saying that you want without understanding the real essence. Well, the game, as the title says, is a remaster of the PS3 game, the differences it has are evident in its resolution (720p->1080p) and the increased frames to 60fps. Therefore, the content is more distinguishable and the gameplay feels more "alive". Other than that, it is flawless in all aspects and gives you a little taste of the next gen on the PS4.
