Technicqll Universal Anaerobic Adhesive A-525 is used to secure threaded joints and bolts in engine heads, as well as to retain lightly loaded bearings and seal fitted threads. It cures when air is excluded between two surfaces, at least one of which is metal. It provides medium-strength bonding and allows quick disassembly for maintenance or repairs.
It can also be used to bond and seal combinations of metal with plastic, glass or rubber. Initial bonding is achieved in 15 minutes, with full strength reached in approximately 24 hours. The adhesive replaces pins and spring washers.
