Silicone pastry molds can be used for various preparations. They are suitable for making flavored butters, candies, muffins, or cakes. Besides sweets, they can also be used for pâté, meatballs, meat dishes, or savory pies. Additionally, they are preferred by those who make soap or candles due to their flexibility and high thermal resistance.
Usage tips:
- Place the mold on the oven rack or a baking tray before adding the dough, as the silicone is soft and the filling may spill.
- Slightly grease the mold before baking.
- For cold preparations, rinse the mold with cold water beforehand.
- Protect the mold from direct contact with flame.
- Do not cut the silicone with knives or sharp objects; it is better to remove the cake once it has fully cooled before cutting.
- Cakes come out better from the mold after they have completely cooled inside it.
Before first use: Wash the mold thoroughly with warm water and detergent, dry it, and grease it generously. This will only be necessary if the mold has dried out significantly.
Cleaning silicone molds: The molds are easy to clean and hand washing is recommended to maintain a minimal layer of grease. Do not use abrasive sponges or harsh detergents. Color changes after baking do not affect usability.
They withstand temperatures between -40°C and +250°C, making them suitable for both baking and freezing.
