CYNKAL is an acrylic primer paint designed for coating surfaces made of steel, galvanized materials, cast iron, and light metals (such as aluminum, copper, brass). It is based on acrylic copolymer and modified with adhesion promoters, offering high adhesion to all types of substrates.

It contains next-generation corrosion inhibitors that chemically bond with corrosion products, providing excellent anti-corrosive properties. It includes small amounts of alcohols and their derivatives that facilitate the penetration of the paint into corrosion products. It naturally and chemically bonds with rust and metallic substrates.

It is highly resistant to low temperatures, corrosion, and UV radiation. It maintains color stability and does not contain chromium or lead compounds. The paint spreads easily.

Purpose: CYNKAL is intended for painting clean (e.g., after sandblasting) or partially clean elements that have corroded and are made of steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, and light metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc.). After drying and adhering to the substrate, the first coat acts as an excellent primer for subsequent layers of CYNKAL or other solvent-based paint and chemically curing fillers. Applying CYNKAL 2-4 times provides corrosion protection and an aesthetic top layer.

CYNKAL can also be used for painting wood, concrete, cement board, and other porous substrates. It is mainly used as a primer paint but can also serve as an anti-corrosive primer under other paints or as a paint for renewing existing coatings.

For medium duration protection, a minimum dry film thickness of 150 microns is required. For long-term protection, the layer thickness should be increased.

CYNKAL is most commonly used where, for technical or economic reasons, thorough surface preparation by sandblasting is not feasible or when partially bonded corrosion products and old paint coatings exist after mechanical surface treatment.

It offers measurable economic benefits by significantly reducing mechanical or chemical surface preparation costs before painting.

Like most paints, CYNKAL is resistant to temperatures up to 200°C; however, discoloration of the coating may occur. The addition of reactive cross-linking resins increases the hardness of the coating and prevents streak formation at temperatures of 130-140°C.
