    First, I should say that the quality is perfectly fine and it does what it needs to. However.....
    It isn't 40 cm. It's 39 to 39.5 cm at most.
    I bought it to cover a round baking tray I have instead of using aluminum foil every time. However, because it is just slightly smaller than 40 cm, there is a small gap when it is fitted, and as a result, steam escapes.
    Perhaps it fits 100% on the pot that comes as a set with this lid, but for general use...... it was useful to me to some extent, given its cost too....
    I also think it's outrageously expensive!!!!!! 32 euros for an enamel lid!! A set of baking trays would cost less
