Keratin tips for hair extensions. These tips are designed to attach a strand of hair at the root, by bonding it to a natural hair strand of similar width, placed at least 1 cm away from the scalp.

The attachment is performed with a hair extension device, at a temperature between 180°C and 200°C. At the point where the natural hair and the extensions connect, the keratin tip melts, creating a strong bond.

This process is known as strand-by-strand extension. After attachment, it is recommended to avoid wetting the hair for 48 hours, so the keratin can dry completely and form a strong bond with the attached hair strand.
