Acrylic zinc-rich primer enamel 0.3L - Signal Red
CYNKAL is an acrylic primer enamel designed for painting surfaces made of steel, galvanized steel, cast iron, and light metallic materials such as aluminum, copper, and brass. CYNKAL is based on an acrylic copolymer and has been modified with adhesion promoters, offering high adhesion to all types of substrates.
It contains modern corrosion inhibitors that chemically bind the corrosion products, providing excellent resistance to corrosion. It includes small amounts of alcohol and their derivatives, which facilitate the penetration of the paint into corrosion products. CYNKAL creates physical and chemical bonds with rust and metallic substrates.
It is particularly resistant to low temperatures, corrosion, and UV radiation. It maintains color durability and contains no chromium or lead compounds. It is easy to apply.
Purpose: CYNKAL is intended for painting clean or partially clean elements affected by corrosion, made of steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, and light metals (aluminum, copper, brass). After drying and bonding to the substrate, the first coat serves as an excellent primer for subsequent coats of CYNKAL or other solvent-based paints and fillers.
Applying CYNKAL 2-4 times provides protection against corrosion and an aesthetic coating. CYNKAL can also be used for painting wood, concrete, fiber cement, and other porous substrates. It primarily serves as a primer enamel, but it can also function as an anti-corrosive primer under other paints or as an enamel for renewing existing coatings.
For medium-term protection, a minimum dry film thickness of 150 microns is required. For long-term protection, the coating thickness should be increased.
CYNKAL is most commonly used in situations where technical or economic reasons prevent full surface preparation by sandblasting, as well as when partially adhering corrosion products and old coatings remain after mechanical surface preparation.
It offers measurable economic benefits by significantly reducing expenses related to surface preparation before painting.
Like most paints, CYNKAL is resistant to temperatures up to 200°C, although discoloration of the coating may occur. The addition of crosslinking reactive resins increases the hardness of the coating under heat and prevents streak formation at temperatures of 130-140°C.
