Malexim Cynkal acrylic chlorinated rubber enamel acts as an adhesion primer for surfaces made of steel, galvanized steel, cast iron and light metals such as aluminum, copper and brass. It contains corrosion inhibitors and bonds physically and chemically with rust and metal substrates. It can also be used on wood, concrete, fiber cement and other porous substrates.
It can be applied to clean or partially cleaned surfaces. Once dry, the first coat serves as a primer for subsequent coats of Cynkal or other paints and fillers. Applied in 2–4 coats, it provides corrosion protection and a final finish. It is resistant to low temperatures, corrosion and ultraviolet radiation, and contains no chromium or lead compounds.
