CYNKAL is an acrylic primer designed for painting metal surfaces such as steel, galvanized steel, cast iron, and light metals (such as aluminum, copper, brass). It is an acrylic copolymer primer modified with adhesion promoters, providing high adhesion to all types of substrates.

This paint contains next-generation corrosion inhibitors that chemically bind corrosion products, offering excellent anti-swelling properties. It includes small amounts of alcohols and their derivatives, which facilitate the penetration of the paint into corrosion products. CYNKAL binds physically and chemically with rust and metallic substrates.

It is particularly resistant to low temperatures, corrosion, and UV radiation, maintaining its color durability without the presence of chromium or lead compounds. It is easy to apply.

Purpose: CYNKAL is a primer intended for painting clean components (e.g. after sandblasting) or partially clean elements affected by corrosion, made from steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, and light metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc.). After drying and bonding to the substrate, the first coat provides an excellent base for subsequent coats of CYNKAL or other solvent-based paints and chemically curing paints, as well as coatings.

Applying CYNKAL 2-4 times achieves substrate protection from corrosion and provides an aesthetic coating. Like other paints with an acrylic binder, CYNKAL can also be used for painting wood, concrete, fiber cement, and other porous substrates.

CYNKAL is mainly used as a paint primer, but it can also act as an anti-corrosion primer under other paints or as a varnish for renewing existing coatings. For medium-term protection, a minimum dry film thickness of 150 microns is required. For long-term protection, the coating thickness should be increased.

It is mainly used in cases where technical or economic reasons do not permit thorough surface preparation by sandblasting or when partially adhering corrosion products and old paint coatings remain after mechanical surface treatment.

CYNKAL provides measurable economic benefits by significantly reducing costs associated with mechanical or chemical surface preparation prior to painting.

Like most paints, CYNKAL is resistant to temperatures up to 200°C; however, discoloration of the coating may occur. The addition of reactive resins increases the hardness of the coating under heat and prevents the formation of streaks at temperatures of 130-140°C.
