Head Leak Tester + Conical Adapter with a diameter of 37-41 mm suitable for almost all car models + 50 ml reagent = 25 tests.
Before purchase, check the diameter of the expansion tank. The package includes a conical adapter with a diameter of 37-41 mm, but if your tank has a different diameter, it is possible to exchange the 37-41 mm adapter for conical adapters with diameters: 26-28 mm, 29-33 mm, 40-43 mm, 44-48 mm, 48-51 mm. Please contact us if you wish to exchange the adapter.
The device allows for easy diagnosis and quick detection of damage to the head. In case of damage to the head or cylinder head, some exhaust gases containing, among others, CO2, enter the cooling system. The device works by measuring the CO2 content in the cooling system. The reagent in the tester's chamber reacts with the gases from the cooling system and, if CO2 levels are elevated, changes color to yellow, colorless, or green. The tester is suitable for cars with gasoline, LPG, and diesel engines that are liquid-cooled.
The package includes: PVC measuring tube, 50 ml CO2 reagent sufficient for 25 tests, adapter with a diameter of 37-41 mm that can be exchanged for adapters with diameters of 26-28 mm, 29-33 mm, 40-43 mm, 44-48 mm, 48-51 mm, instructions in Polish, and free gloves.
Instructions for Use:
- Fill the device with approximately 2 ml of reagent up to the level below the tester's chambers.
- Connect the tester to the open fill or radiator opening.
- Start and warm up the engine, then increase the engine speed to achieve higher combustion pressure.
- Let the engine run at idle or slightly increased RPM and observe the fluid, which should foam.
