The steel rod is hot-dip galvanized, ensuring uniform zinc coating and double mechanical and compressive protection against corrosion and wear. Moreover, the FLORIPLAX mesh is manufactured using a second patented CAVATORTA process called GALVAPLAX. This involves coating the mesh with plastic using a sintering method. The zinc-coated rod is dipped in a preparation bath, allowing perfect adhesion of the PVC coating to the metal, creating a flawless surface on the mesh.
