The YT-82530 soldering accessory is a copper braid made of multiple individual strands woven into a braid form. It is used for removing excess solder or for cleaning tracks from solder residue.
Place the braid on the soldering area from which you want to remove excess solder. Press the hot tip onto the braid. The solder will begin to melt onto the hot braid, thus removing the solder from the soldering area. For best results, apply some flux to the soldering area before you start the process.
