What it is

Hydrocolloid adhesive dressings, hypoallergenic, sterile, semi-permeable, that provide long-term protection for wounds by preventing access of bacteria, microorganisms, and contaminants that can cause infections. Urgo Optiskin adhesive dressings are suitable for superficial wounds such as stitched wounds, skin abrasions, and for securing medical devices like drains, catheters, and others.

The semi-permeable material of Optiskin only allows air to pass through its ultra-fine pores, letting the wound breathe and preventing the risk of long-term maceration. Optiskin is waterproof and can be used during bathing.

Optiskin dressings are flexible and comfortable, with an elastic base that follows the lines of skin folds and joints with every movement, preventing maceration or detachment of the dressing. They have an increased adhesive surface that allows the patch to stay in place for up to 5 days.

The application of Optiskin is easy and practical, and removal is painless. The removal technique involves lifting and gently moving the edge of the dressing from one side, allowing frequent changes without causing skin damage.

The dressings also include an ultra-absorbent gauze placed directly over the wound and covered with a polyethylene texture that does not stick to the wound.

Do not stretch during application. It is recommended to store in a cool place, away from children and direct sunlight.
