Description

April 13, 2031, Time 00:07. Around Rhodes, seventy-two fighter aircraft are flying low in the darkness. No lights. No radar. No radios. Almost blind themselves. Ahead of them lies the impossible. An impenetrable web of enemy fighters, radars, ships, anti-aircraft missiles, and all kinds of drones. Yet, the "Lernaean Hydra" is only the beginning.

As the night progresses, the sea catches fire, the sky is traced by hundreds of missile trajectories, while the ground on Symi and Tilos is stained red. Victory in the Aegean seems to approach and then slips away—changing hands again and again, within a few minutes. And then... the earth shakes from the explosions of hundreds of cannons. A fiery front dozens of kilometers long lights up the Evros.

After three books and two years of bloody struggles, the final confrontation has arrived. Those who walk through the shadow of death—brave and cowardly, just and unjust—all will be judged. And whoever remains standing the next morning will have to consider whether they are the same person after the Day of Judgment.

"The culmination of a masterful war tetralogy. Miltos Antoniadis goes beyond simple war reporting, offering a stunning spatiotemporal depiction of the great geopolitical conflict in the Aegean. With exceptionally convincing characters and a relentless plot, ‘Day of Judgment’ completes the grand narrative puzzle in the most gripping way."

Nikolas Vafeiadis, Journalist – War Correspondent, ANT1 News

"The most breathtaking novel of its kind reaches its end and our only choice is to make it through."

Sotiris Skouloudis, Editor-in-Chief, Newsbomb.gr

"A must-read by an author with deep knowledge of modern warfare and geopolitics."
