The Quectel EM05 series is an LTE Cat 4 module and wireless WAN adapter with an M.2 interface, designed for broadband IoT and M2M applications. It supports LTE-FDD, LTE-TDD, UMTS/HSPA+, WCDMA, and CDMA networks depending on the variant (EM05-CN, EM05-E, EM05-G), with maximum download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps.

The compact M.2 (NGFF) form factor measures 30.0 x 42.0 x 2.3 mm and is built for extended operation from -40°C to +85°C. It includes MIMO support for enhanced data speeds and connection reliability, as well as USB drivers for Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, Linux, and Android. Additionally, it supports DFOTA for over-the-air firmware updates.

It is suitable for industrial routers, rugged tablets, PDAs, video transmission, and digital signage in IoT and M2M applications with limited space.
