Description

The head leakage tester allows for easy diagnosis and quick detection of damage to the engine head. In the event of damage, certain exhaust gases, including CO2, enter the cooling system. The device measures the CO2 content in the cooling system. The reactive liquid in the tester capsule reacts with the gases from the cooling system and, if the CO2 level is high, changes color to yellow, colorless, or green.

The device is suitable for cars with gasoline engines, LPG, and diesel engines that are liquid-cooled.

The set includes:

  • PCV measuring tube
  • 100ml CO2 reactive liquid, sufficient for 50 tests
  • Adapter with a diameter of 37-41mm, replaceable with adapters with diameters of 26-28mm, 29-33mm, 40-43mm, 44-48mm, 48-51mm
  • Instructions in Polish
  • Free gloves

Before purchasing, check the diameter of the expansion tank. The device must be filled with about 2ml of reactive liquid up to the level just below the test capsules. Then connect the tester to the expansion tank or the radiator inlet, start and warm up the engine, increase the RPM to achieve higher combustion pressure. Let the engine idle and observe the liquid, which should foam. If the liquid changes color to yellow, colorless, or green within a few minutes, this indicates damage to the engine head.

Made in Poland. The effectiveness of the tester is 99.9%.
