Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition for Xbox Series X is a story-driven open-world RPG set in medieval Bohemia. Players take on the role of Henry, a blacksmith’s son, and fight the invading forces, while their choices influence the course of quests and the reactions of the people. The edition for current-generation consoles includes graphical upgrades such as 4K resolution, an improved frame rate and high-resolution textures.

The open world features castles, plains and forests. Combat revolves around ranged attacks, stealth or hand-to-hand fighting, with a choice of weapons and combinations of moves. Character progression includes selecting equipment, improving skills and unlocking new perks.

The Royal Edition includes the base game and the expansions Treasures of the Past, From the Ashes, The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon, Band of Bastards and A Woman's Lot. In the latter, players take on the role of Theresa and experience the events of Sigismund’s raid from a different perspective.
