Product: CYNKAL acrylic primer-enamel 0.3L Grey RAL

Technical specifications:

  • Manufacturer: Malexim
  • Color: Grey RAL
  • EAN: 5907596533743
  • Capacity (L): 0.3

CYNKAL is an acrylic primer-enamel designed for painting surfaces made of steel, galvanized steel, cast iron, and light metals (such as aluminum, copper, brass). It consists of an acrylic copolymer with adhesion modifiers, offering excellent adhesion to all substrate types. It contains next-generation corrosion inhibitors that chemically bind corrosion products, providing the paint with excellent anti-corrosive properties.

CYNKAL includes small amounts of alcohols and their derivatives, which facilitate the penetration of the paint into corrosion products. It binds naturally and chemically with rust and metallic substrates. CYNKAL is highly resistant to low temperatures, corrosion, and UV radiation, maintaining color durability. It contains no chromium or lead compounds and spreads easily.

Purpose: CYNKAL is intended for painting clean or partially cleaned corroded steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, and light metal elements. After drying and bonding with the substrate, the first layer provides an excellent base for subsequent layers of CYNKAL or other chemically curing paints and coatings. Applying 2-4 layers of CYNKAL ensures substrate protection against corrosion and an aesthetically pleasing final surface.

CYNKAL can also be used for painting wood, concrete, fiberboard, and other porous substrates. It is mainly used as a primer-enamel but can also function as an anti-corrosive primer under other paints or as an enamel for repainting existing coatings.

For medium-duration protection, a minimum dry film thickness of 150 microns is required. For long-term protection, the coating thickness should be increased.

CYNKAL is mainly used where technical or economic reasons prevent comprehensive surface preparation through sandblasting, or when partially adhered corrosion products and old coatings remain after mechanical surface treatment. It offers measurable economic benefits by significantly reducing the cost of surface preparation before painting.

It should be noted that CYNKAL is resistant to temperatures up to 200°C; however, discoloration of the coating may occur. The addition of reactive cross-linking resins increases coating hardness and prevents the formation of lines at temperatures of 130-140°C.
