CYNKAL acrylic primer-inspiration 0.4L Red oxidation

CYNKAL is an acrylic primer-inspiration designed for painting surfaces made of steel, galvanized, cast iron, and light metals (such as aluminum, copper, brass). It is based on an acrylic copolymer modified with adhesion promoters, offering high adhesion to all types of substrates.

CYNKAL contains next-generation corrosion inhibitors that chemically bond with corrosion products, providing excellent anti-corrosion properties. It includes small amounts of alcohols and their derivatives to facilitate paint penetration into corrosion products. CYNKAL bonds naturally and chemically with rust and the metal substrate.

CYNKAL is highly resistant to low temperatures, corrosion, and ultraviolet radiation. It maintains color stability and does not contain chromium or lead compounds. It is easy to apply.

Purpose:

CYNKAL is intended for painting clean (e.g., after sealing) or partially clean elements corroded from steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, and light metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc.). After drying and bonding with the substrate, the first layer provides an excellent base for subsequent layers of CYNKAL or other solvent-based and chemically curing paints, as well as for repair materials.

Applying 2-4 layers of CYNKAL provides protection against corrosion and an aesthetic coating. Like other acrylic binder paints, CYNKAL can also be used for painting wood, concrete, fiber cement, and other porous substrates.

CYNKAL is primarily used as a primer-inspiration but can also function as an anti-corrosion primer under other paints or as an inspiration for repainting existing coatings. For moderate protection, a minimum dry film thickness of 150 microns is required. For long-term protection, the coating thickness should be increased.

CYNKAL is commonly used where technical or economic reasons prevent thorough surface preparation by blasting, or when partially well-adhered corrosion products and old paint layers remain after mechanical surface treatment.

CYNKAL offers measurable economic benefits by reducing the need for extensive mechanical or chemical surface preparation before painting.

Like most paints, CYNKAL is resistant to temperatures up to 200°C, although coating discoloration may occur. The addition of reactive crosslinking resins increases the hardness of the coating and prevents striation at temperatures of 130-140°C.
