The PS 30 D roll is mainly designed for rapid removal of material from large surfaces. The product is made on a durable paper backing and is suitable for sanding flat surfaces by hand or with electric tools. This high-quality inert material is intended for processing:

Optimal sanding results are achieved thanks to the high cut resistance of the backing and the increased aggressiveness of the grains. The Klingspor PS 30 D roll is an inert abrasive paper with very high cut resistance and aggressive electrocorundum grains. The sharp grains enhance the inertness of the material, allowing faster material removal. Each pass removes a significant amount of material from the workpiece. This rapid removal increases the surface roughness.

It is recommended to perform a coarse smoothing before proceeding to finer stages of sanding with a finer grit. The D-type paper backing is highly resistant to cutting while remaining flexible. The PS 30 D roll offers users an excellent value-for-money ratio. It is sturdy, efficient, and fast. The PS 30 D roll sands wood and varnished or painted coatings accurately and quickly. The sharp grains require special attention to sanding direction when working with wood — sanding along the grain. Sanding perpendicular to the wood grain risks tearing fibers and creating deep fissures.

Before starting work on varnished and painted coatings, check for loose pieces of coating with a putty knife or other sharp edge. Removing these weakly bonded layers before sanding minimizes time and effort in subsequent steps. No additional accessories are needed for hand sanding.
